Interestingly, the Pacers will face the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, a team with the most championships in NBA history alongside the Los Angeles Lakers, with 17 titles each. However, the Celtics’ last championship came in 2008. Despite reaching the conference finals at least five times in the past seven years, they have not claimed the trophy.
Timberwolves’ Quest
The Timberwolves, founded just 35 years ago, are the youngest team among the four remaining contenders. This is only their second appearance in the conference finals, with their last appearance led by Kevin Garnett 20 years ago against the Los Angeles Lakers’ “Shaq and Kobe” era.
